Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Isabel Rodrigo (born February 20th 2002) is an American musician, singer, and actress. She became famous in the latter half of 2010 by playing lead roles in the Disney television shows Bizaardvark and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Rodrigo became famous after joining Interscope Records and Geffen Records in the year 2020. The debut single "Drivers License" broke several records and was named as one of the top-selling tracks of 2021. She followed it up with singles "Deja Vu" and "Good 4 U", and then released her first solo album, Sour (2021), which was met with critical and commercial success, winning various accolades including three Grammy Awards. The documentary Olivia Rodrigo - Driving Home 2 U on Disney+, which chronicles her creative process for Sour and was released in 2022. Rodrigo is the owner of two Billboard Hot 100 number one singles as well as a Billboard 200 number number-one album. She also has five multi-Platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America. Alongside her other awards Rodrigo was awarded the American Music Award, seven Billboard Music Awards, and four MTV Video Music Awards. Time named Rodrigo the 2021 Entertainer of the Year, while Billboard named the woman the Woman of 2022. Olivia Isabel Rodrigo was the daughter of Jennifer Rodrigo, a school teacher, as well as Chris Rodrigo, a family therapist. She also began acting in theater productions at elementary school.
