LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). James is known for his role as King James and is considered as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. James has been awarded four NBA championships, four NBA MVPs Three All-Star MVPs, along with the two Olympic medals. James has scored more points in the playoffs. He has the second highest number of career points, and ranks seventh among career assists. James is the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, a record. James has also been selected for the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. He has played in more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most of all time. This includes eight straight between 2011-2018. James made part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, James became one of the few NBA player to score 10,000 career points. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located in his hometown from Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media for his potential as an NBA star. He was in the process of becoming a professional and was the first pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, He quickly established himself as one of the league's premier players by winning an NBA MVP title in 2009 and 2010. He was unable to secure the championship Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent to be a part of with the Miami Heat this was announced during the TV special The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent choices ever made in the history of sports.
